The walk with Praha Neznámá on 7/16/2024 was a success. 30 interested people walked from OD Kotva to the City Library. The enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide was interested.. whether he was talking about the Hotel Josef by Eva Jiřičná, or the dome of the historic MPO building by Josef Fanta – the monument in Hišima, by the same author, has the same, or the history of the removal of statues of Jewish composers on the roof of the Rudolfinum by the Nazis, when the first attempt Richard Wágner’s workers jumped, because he had the biggest nose… It was only on the second attempt that they found the right statue, but fortunately it was preserved and returned to its place after a while. We ended the walk in a great cafe next to UMPRUM, Cafe TURQUOISE. We can only recommend the banquet on the theme of Mediterranean cuisine, drinks and friendly staff. See you next time?
