During his service in the army, he held various positions; among other things, he worked in the Force Development Section, the Joint Operations Centre, at the Military Academy, and at the inspectorate. From 1 July 2022 to 28 February 2023, he served as Chief of the Military Police, and in February 2023 he himself requested to be relieved from this position. In March of the same year, as part of personnel changes associated with the inauguration of President Petr Pavel, he was transferred to the Military Office of the President of the Republic.

In addition to his military career, he is also involved in teaching as an external lecturer at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University, where he is simultaneously pursuing a doctoral program focused on modern history. He also specializes in international law and the issue of hybrid conflicts. As an expert in international law, he cooperates with the Czech Red Cross and is a member of the Czech Society of International Law.
