The company firmly distances itself from these activities and warns the public against opening accounts at someone else’s instruction
Prague, 11 November 2025 – Venture Club Invest s.r.o. (ID No. 06503829) draws attention to the fact that its identification number is being misused by third parties in offers of quick profits that are spreading mainly through social networks and communication platforms (e.g. Facebook, WhatsApp), including the use of paid advertising. In these offers, people are encouraged, in exchange for a financial reward, to open bank accounts in their own name according to the instructions of an unknown person.
These activities have no connection whatsoever with Venture Club Invest s.r.o. or with the Venture Club investment club. They are entirely foreign and unauthorized actions that may constitute criminal activity. “We emphasize that Venture Club never asks anyone to open bank accounts based on instructions via chat, WhatsApp, or social networks, and certainly not for a one-off cash reward. These offers are fraudulent, and our company ID is misused in them solely to create an impression of trustworthiness,” warns Petr Šedivý, CEO of Venture Club Invest s.r.o. and chairman of the board of Venture Club z.s.
This is fraudulent conduct in which the ID number of Venture Club Invest s.r.o. is being misused. We have nothing to do with these “quick profit” offers for opening bank accounts according to instructions via WhatsApp or social networks, and we never ask anyone to open an account because of us or to hand over their ID card or other personal data. If you have responded to a similar offer, we recommend that you immediately terminate the communication, report the conversation as fraud, and block the sender. Consider filing a criminal complaint with the Police of the Czech Republic and also contacting your bank if you have already provided any data or access credentials. In case of doubt, always contact your bank or the Police directly – the sooner, the better.
