This year we are hosting the ninth edition of our successful event, same place and time as in previous years. Great wine, refreshments, and atmosphere. You can register below – don’t delay, as there is a limited number of spots, and we already have many participants.
You can check out what last year’s event looked like here: on the VENTURE CLUB YOUTUBE channel.
In ancient times, people enjoyed drinking young wine because winemakers were unable to produce wine that wouldn’t spoil over time. Beaujolais Nouveau is made in the same way as all wines born in Beaujolais, but faster. This ensures it retains its freshness and youthful playfulness, with a hint of fruity aroma and quick fermentation. Since the 19th century, winemakers from Beaujolais delivered young wine to Lyon, where it became so popular that it was nicknamed the “third river of Lyon.” Soon, it also became a favorite in Paris.
Young Beaujolais is legally allowed to be opened/consumed only after midnight on the third Thursday in November. Originally, it was set for November 15th, but since this date often fell on a weekend, which wasn’t practical for sales, the tradition shifted to a “floating” Thursday.
NOTE: Registration for the event is required in advance
Full members receive one ticket included in their membership, and they can purchase an additional ticket for a non-member guest at the membership price. Basic members can buy tickets at the club price for themselves and a guest. Tickets can only be ordered after logging into the club’s website.
We look forward to seeing you – with great wine, tapas, and maybe even some apple strudel with ice cream. 🙂

Note: If you don’t have a membership, consider getting one – or stop by another open event. Thank you for understanding.
