Evening with economist Ilona Švihlíková

Venture Club supports education and we are happy to invite interesting guests. Our next interesting guest will be economist Mrs. Ilona Švihlíková. You may know her from commentary on television, XTV, podcasts and the press. Her favorite topics include energy, electricity prices and macroeconomics in general. As you will see live, she is very easy to talk to and to discuss any topic related to current events, the role of the state, politics, the EU or questions surrounding the adoption of the euro. Especially as elections are approaching…

Doc. Ing. Ilona Švihlíková, Ph.D. (1977) graduated from the University of Economics, majoring in International Trade. Professionally, she focuses on the phenomenon of globalization, commodity markets and economic policy. She is the author of several monographs, the best-known being “How We Became a Colony.” She is an advocate of the concept of economic sovereignty. She is currently working at the College of Business as dean of the faculty.
