What happens when a world-class classical violinist decides to combine Bach with rock?
Pavel Šporcl is one of our most outstanding violinists, but he also clearly enjoys pushing the boundaries of classical music. And his new programme Bacha na Rebela caught our attention so much that we decided to go together.
The first part of the evening will be devoted to Bach and pieces from the album AIR. In the second, Pavel Šporcl will switch from classical mode to his blue violin, a rock band and songs by Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and Queen.
Bach and rock in a single evening in Smetanova síň at Obecní dům. We found this combination so intriguing that we reserved seats together in the 10th row for Venture Club members.
