We invite you to a summer holiday gathering of the Venture Club in a place that combines technical genius, craftsmanship precision, and the unique atmosphere of old Prague.
Together, we will visit the Old Wastewater Treatment Plant in Bubeneč – a uniquely preserved site from 1906 that will appeal to everyone interested in the history of architecture, steam engineering, and the beginnings of modern infrastructure in Prague. Afterwards, we will move to the café within the same complex, where there will be space for an informal gathering, summer networking, and sharing news about what we are currently preparing at Venture Club.
Guided tour of the treatment plant will be arranged exclusively for us, during exceptional late-afternoon hours. Part of the programme takes place underground, so neither intense heat nor a possible change in weather will be a problem. We will see the original wastewater-treatment technologies, the steam engine room and boiler room, walk through the former sewer, and take a punt ride across the surface of the underground tanks.

At the café, cold buffet refreshments will be prepared for you. In addition to informal networking, we will introduce news that we are preparing at Venture Club – a new wallet-pass system for club members and those interested in membership, plans for Venture Club’s 10th anniversary, and the upcoming autumn Pitch Nights.
Come and enjoy a summer early evening with us in an unusual setting, meet other club members, and gain insight not only into the history of Prague’s technical heritage, but also into the next chapter of Venture Club. If you have children, bring them along.
The event is open to Venture Club members, Podnikám ČESKY members, their family members, and others interested in the club.

Admission prices differ for NON-members (who pay for admission and refreshments), Basic VC members and Podnikám Česky members (who pay admission and receive a small discount on refreshments), and Full members (who pay admission and receive a better discount on refreshments). If you attend with a partner, your price also applies to them. Children have a single reduced admission price. Thank you for registering in advance to ensure the necessary capacity.
We recommend that visitors wear sturdy footwear and warmer clothing even during the summer months. During every tour, visitors walk through the original sewer (no longer in use).
