A special guest in the club will be the entrepreneur Ing. Zbyněk Frolík, founder of LINET.
Zbyněk Frolík graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague, majoring in technical cybernetics and electronic computers at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. In 1990 he founded LINET, which today sells medical beds all over the world. Its value was estimated at 20 billion as of 2018, but is higher today. Over the past 20 years, the company has donated around 100 million to charitable causes.
Zbyněk Frolik has co-authored international patents and received numerous awards for entrepreneurs. He is the vice president of the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic. He is involved in many companies where he now has investments. One of the invested companies is MES – a manufacturer of HE3DA batteries. Together with Venture Club he sits on the MES Investor Board and thanks to this cooperation we managed to get him to join the club evening.
