Christmas Concert of the Bennewitz Quartet

Traditionally we will meet the top Bennewitz Quartet at the Christmas concert. Due to ongoing limitations, the form will eventually be an online stream. We had pre-arranged a nice venue with a view over the rooftops of Prague and Prague Castle, we’ll look there – no problem – another time. However, we want to indulge in a cultural experience and, most importantly, we want to support by organizing a concert of the artist. Therefore:

Venture Club will provide the hall and the technology for a quality broadcast and recording, and the participants with their online purchased entry will provide the fees. Will you join us?

The program, again performed by Jakub Fišer – 1st violin, Štěpán Ježek – 2nd violin, Jiří Pinkas – viola and Štěpán Doležal – cello:

A. Dvořák – Op. 61 – 1st movement

J. Haydn – Op. 54 No. 2 – 1st movement

W. A. Mozart – “Little Night Music” – 1st movement

L. van Beethoven – Op. 132 – 3rd movement “Heiliger Dankgesang”

V. Sommer – Quartet No. 1 – 1st movement

A. Dvořák – Op. 96 “American” – 1st (or 2nd) and 4th movement

Starting with Antonín Dvořák at the beginning, we will have Dvořák at the end – thus the circle comes full circle. We look forward to , that the visit of several periods will contribute to the pleasant atmosphere of Advent. The expected duration of the concert will be about 1,5 hours.

Admission is voluntary – we recommend a minimum of 250 CZK. If you donate 500 CZK or more, you will have an extra CD of the Bennewitz Quartet. If you donate 1000 CZK or more, you will have a CD with signatures of the quartet members. The CD offer – see below – is valid for the first 30 people who buy a ticket.

Please send your payment to the Venture Club account number: 2901082903 / 2010. Please put your name in the message to the recipient, then the date as VS – the number in the form: 17122020. Please register below to send the tracking link online, or you can also just send a message by email. We will register you. Thank you.

Admission will be a welcome contribution – culture is also one of the affected industries. We’re happy to help! We look forward to seeing you, friends

Happy Advent, Merry Christmas !
